MD allows you to create a library of clothes and each garment you create can be modified and re-used to fit other characters. Think about three major things: the main patterns that create the garment, the sewing seams and how these patterns are sewn together, and finally the other details such as pockets, zippers, buttons, and so forth. Sketching clothes on paper will help you understand sewing patterns and explore ideas. The most important thing to know is how to read the sewing blueprints!
